This sensory path at Spring Hills Elementary was designed to support movement, regulation, and play during the school day. Installed on a large asphalt area near recess, the path incorporates a series of guided activities rooted in occupational therapy principles, offering students opportunities for sensory input and self-regulation.
The design integrates multiple interpretations of the school’s hawk mascot alongside their mottos, creating a cohesive, school-centered experience that is both functional and engaging. The result is a vibrant, inclusive space that supports neurodivergent students while benefiting the entire school community.
